We here at Mrs. Murphy's are so very blessed to live in a wonderful area. The ocean is about 1 1/2 hours away, the mountains are just outside the door, major cities are 1-3 hours away. During the summer, most of the time, the lake is fun. Sailing, scuba diving, snorkling, water skiing, you name it. It's plenty big enough for all of those. And in the winter, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, skating, ice fishing. But there's a darker side to the lake as well. Snowmobiles through the ice, boating accidents (most not very lovely to see), sudden storms that kick up from the surrounding mountains. (These are beautiful to watch as they come across the lake, by the way.) We love the lake, and welcome you to come and visit any time. � � �
